You can think that a movie like Braveheart that is nearly three hours long, should have a few flat scenes. But no, the movie is on a constant move, from the start to the very end. Braveheart is a movie that fills and leaves you with strong emotional feelings. The movie is about the heroic William Wallace that lived in the 18th century Scotland. William Wallace that after a tragically happening in his hometown when he was young, been taken away by his father-in-law far away from his hometown. Several years later he come back to his hometown and has become a strong and confident man. There he meets a beautiful girl that he fell in love with and get married to. When the king’s soldier soon thereafter kills a love one to William just to get to him, he makes the villagers go up against the soldiers and it’s become a battle. William Wallace doesn’t stop there, no he wants to make not only the villagers that stood up against the king to be free, he wants all Scotland to be free from the tyrannical King Edward Longshanks.

And it is that the movie has a load of touching scenes that it filled with so powerful emotions that simple not leaves you unmoved. The music is also a big key factor in the movie. James Horner is the perfect creator of the music to this movie. His soft and often powerful emotionally filled music is a nice balance to a movie of Bravehearts character.
The movie has a familiar story of the also dramatic movie Robin Hood with Kevin Costner, or a better comparison will maybe be Rob Roy with Liam Neeson. But the difference is that Braveheart is more of a brutal love/war story.
The movie got a great cast and a type of characters that you will remember. The heroic William Wallace (Mel Gibson) best friend Hamish Campbell (Brendan Gleeson) is the likeable man that also plays a big role in the move. The beautiful and kind Princess Isabelle (Sophie Marceau) and her tyrannical and evil King Edward Longshanks is just a few of this remembering and outstanding characters.
This is a movie that I recommend to those people that like movies with a good love story filled and combined with war and deep friendship. Thos...
