Since the Stone Age have man kind draw, painting and scribble.
The first train painting was in 84-08-13.
The graffiti come to Sweden in 1984 with Chalfant movie and his books. The Swedish graffiti holds high standard compared to other countries. The style becomes more complicate.
Stockholm is the Swedish capital even in graffiti.

In 1983 come the hip-hop and break dance with the film Beats street. The first painter was Disey and Ziggy, two good graffiti painters! And one man calls Zip and he was a Kung on tagging under the 80th. Tag is when you writes instead painting.
The graffiti come to Sweden in 1984 but in USA come the in 70th!
Graffiti is not only painting it is a life style to, with hip-hop and break dance! The hip-hop culture leads to that young people gets to getter in gangs. And the gangs have often a signature that is called a “rose”, and the first rose was made in Philadelphia 1972.
(And the first tag on the liberty statue was a girl who name was Charmin.)
The hip-hop builds on Zulu-nation; Zulu-nation is a society who all conflicts are solved with dans, music and graffiti competitions.
That thought came from “Africa Bambaataa”. And Bambaataa was a black dj!
And that was even he that comes with “battling”.
From the beginning was the hip-hop message anti-violent, anti- drug, anti-racism.
