1. What fairy do you like the most? Describe its features (egenskaper) and why you like it.
I like goblins because they are small, dark,ugly and evil. You can see them at halloween together with ghost and dead people. If you look at them you are lost and they can do whatever they like with you.

2. The 17th  of March is St. Patrick’s day. Why is it celebrated and how?
In Ireland they celebrate St. Patrick´s day on 17th March. He is a patron saint of Ireland.They celebrate St. Patrick´s day with “Shamrock Cookies” and wear green dress.And they also have a dance and it´s called “jigg”.

3. What is hurling and how is it played?
Hurling is a game and it´s played in Ireland. Which is the fastest team game in world. You play with a stick and it´s called “ hurley” and the ball is called “sliothar”. There are 15 players at one team.


4. What is the story of  “The princess and the beggar” about?
The princess was daughter to the king of Connemara. She was clever and beautiful, she was also very proud of herself. Many man came to ask the princess to marry them, but she refuse every one. And the king said “ You will marry the next man who comes to the gate”. Just in that moment they heard a knocking at the gate. There stood a beggar. “It´s there anything you could spare me?“ said the beggar. “You can have my daughter” said the king. The princess had no choice. She was now a beggar´s wife.
One day she looked at her face in water and said “ If i was not been so proud, i would married to a fine young man. “But you are, said a voice behind her. The princess turned round. And there stood a handsome young man.  “Who are you?”, said princess. “I am Finbar, a prince from Galway”, said the handsome young man. “I am also the beggar you have married”.
