The Jackal is an english man who has several identities for example “Charles Calthrop” "Marty Schulberg" an old soldier and many many more, every character that The Jackal is becoming has it´s own dress and looks to confuse the french police and the hired detective Claud Lebel. The Jackal is a very good murderer, he escapes thru all of europe and back again to avoid the police and detective.

He then started in on the one B had just given him” etc. This goes on throughout the book and Forsyth’s endless recitation of the names of streets, squares, and towns gets quite boring.” This was written by Thomas Jussing at the IT gymnasium in kista and it is the truth, sadly. But I shouldn´t just be negative about The Day Of The Jackal because sometimes it really get´s exciting and you feel that you can´t stop reading.
What you could discuss about this book is if it is right to asassin a person just because of his/her opinion or maby what thought it is that go...
