A Study in Scarlett is a book about Dr Watson first meeting with Mr Sherlock Holmes and how Dr Watson get to know this astonishing private detective. The case, which the plot is about, is the start of one of the most famous partnerships in the buisness of murder. When you start reading the book you understand that it is Dr Watson who’s retelling the happenings in the story. The author starts with having Dr Watson describing their meeting and how they come to share the appartment at 22IB. Dr Watson continues to tell us about Sherlock Holmes and his personality.
