My Trip to Australia!

Day 1:

Right now I´m sitting on a airplane that going to take me to Australia. The correct name of Australia is Commonwealth of Australia and it was find by James Cook, 1770. The land got
18 million inhabitants and is about 7,7million sq. km. They are mostly speaking English there. Other languages are Aboriginal, some Italian and Greek. 94% of the population are from Europe, 4% are from Asia and the rest are Aborigines.
The flight is going to take about 48hr and it cost c.a 10 300kr.
I´m getting tried so I better have a sleep.

Day 2:

Now I have been here in Sydney for four hours. Sydney is the biggest city of Australia and it´s the capitol of New South Wales with c.a 3,5 million inhabitants.
It´s about two PM here and the time difference lies between +7hr and +9hr so in Sweden it´s about four am now.
16.00Now I´m going to change my Swedish money against Australian dollars.

Day 3:

Today I´m going to the Operahouse. The stone that the monument are build of is from Sweden and the architects name is Jørn Utzon (from Denmark). Because it aren''''t any concerts today I only get to look at the building from the outside.

Day 4:

Today I´m going to Canberra, which is the capitol of Australia with about 311 000 inhabitants. The museum I´m visiting is named Regatta Point. There you can learn more about the history of Australia. I´m also visiting Aus Mint. That is a factory where they are making coins.
Canberra is of a practical turn. The people that lived in Australia couldn''''t decide which one of those two cities would be the capitol. So they arrange a competition, the one, from respective town or village, who could draw the finest town, would design all the houses and tell where every street would go. Before Canberra became a city, the only ones that lived there was some people who owned a sheeprun, and one of them was the winner, Walter Burley Griffin.

Day 5:

When I was sitting on a café today, I met Adam Scott, the famous Australian golfer(!) and because I´m so clumsy, I happened to spill all my coffee on his very expensive shoes. And so went my first meeting with an Australian celebrity.

Day 6:

Today I''''ve been at the Treasury Building, one of Melbournes most beautiful builds. This house was drawn and built of the 19 years old architect J.J. Clarke. I''''ve also been at the Victorian Arts Center where the most famous arts from Melbourne are.
Melbourne is the capitol of Victoria and has c.a 3,2 million inhabitants. This city has is also the best shoppingcenter in Australia.

Day 7:

I´m right now on my way to Tasmania, one island who lies south from Victoria. Before the last glacial period, Tasmania was belonging to Australia. The separating gave Tasmania other kinds of animals living there and a different kind of vegetation.
Tasmania is a small island with only 450 000 inhabitants. The summers are very hot here and the withers are cold. Tasmania was find by the detector Abel Tasman from Holland. It''''s from him the island got its name. The capitol is named Hobart.
Right now I´m on the ex. penal colony Port Arthur. To this island ''''''''the white'''''''' transmitted the worst criminals, because it was impossible to escape from here. Now they restaurierend the old jailtown and they are showing it for the public. I most stop writing now so I don''''t miss anything.

Day 8:

Today I''''ve been at the Perth Cultural Centre (PCC). This is a museum in Perth. At PCC I learned much more about the aborigines. I saw their artworks, musical instruments (Didgeridoo) and different kinds of tools that they where using formerly. I''''ve also been in Kings Park. That is a park which was created 1872.

Day 9:

Today I''''ve been at the Rottnest Island. I came there to watch on the Kangaroos that lives here. They are looking almost lika rats and that''''s where the Rottnest Island got it''''s name.

Day 10:

Today I´m going on a guided tour to the Aboriginals who is the oldest tribe in Australia. The Aboriginals has their own religion that they are calling ''''''''The Dreamming''''''''.
After seeing them ''''''''in real'''''''' I´m not so fascinated like I was before, because their life is almost like ours. Mostly of them are only living in their villages occasionally and have their own apartments.
Dag 11:

Today I´m going to the Great Barrier Reef Park who is the biggest barrier reef. It is about 2000km far, and many people diving here for to se this famous artwork.

After the show I went to a restaurant for some food, and there where the two guys, Darren Stanley Hayes and Daniel Jones, from Savage Gardens. I asked for their autograph and then we started to chat about their concert and how good I thought they had been. They told me that they both live in Brisbane and that Daniel was born in London whilst Darren had lived in Brisbane in his whole life.
Their most famous songs are ''''''''Truly, Madly, Deeply'''''''', ''''''''To the moon and back'''''''', ''''''''Animalsong'''''''' and ''''''''Tears of P...
