Examination in En B
The speech "Dream" by Martin Luther King
I chosen this specific time and event just because I think it's the biggest, most important, most chocking in the American history. This speech turn the whole American people world's upside down. Some people thought this was great, some others didn't. I can't even imagine how it was to stand there in the crowd, what a relief, what a feeling. And I must say I truly love his name.

Analysis of the speech
The most important message in the speech is that all people are created equal, and even if that wasn't how the people in America thought at that time, Martin Luther King felt it must be the case for the future, to find a solution and progress a change. He argued very effectively and powerfully with a good speaking technique. Very similar to another good speaker, named Adolf Hitler I think.
I personally think that King would be proud of a lot of the progress we have made since his assassination started. And then tell us that we still have much work to do, and always will.
First at the beginning of the speech he tells, it's a direct allusion to the American Dream. Which most Americans believe in: a dream where people have right to a high standard of living and a decent way of life. Second part of the speech, the peaceful situation he describes for the black people in America stands in contrast with the reality they have known for centuries and even the reality of the 1960's. Compared with this ideal, their existence is just a nightmare.
At last but not least, to dream is one of the last thing left to do for a man when he's desperate. What does he dream of? He dreams of a time and place where his fellowmen will no longer be segregated, prejudiced against or treated as inferiors. He wishes the black people and the white people were really equal, he wishes they shared the same rights and standard in the United States of America.
Summary
The black people lived in oppression, they wasn't worth anything for the white people. The society was split up between black and white people. Of course even some of the white people thought this were total bullshit, but they weren't many. At this time weren't even a black man and a white man equal in front of the law. Like we saw in the movie with the white lawyer, don't remember what it's called. And they didn't even live in the same neighborhood, how sick isn't that.
The culture differences aren't that big I think, except that the black people whore/are more believing in god. Just because they are former slaves and the most black people had grown up in the white peoples society, some of them haven't even seen where they coming from at the beginning. They had grown up as white people, in the same country, with the same laws but not with the same rights and life standard as them. Is that fair, s...
