Sir A. Conan Doyle he was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 1859. He was the author to the famous histories about Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson.

The story take place in south west of England in Devonshire on Baskerville hall. The big house is placed out of a moor called Dartmoor.

Because there is a legend about a enormous dog, a dog from hell how kills people. A specially the legend is told in the Baskerville family. The dead man in the moor is Sir Charles Baskerville and he shows signs on the dead body possible coming from a huge dog or something similar.
One evening Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson get a visitor, a good friend called James Mortimer. He asked for help to solve the problem whit the death of Sir Charles Baskerville . After one further death of a men out on the moor is Sherlock Holmes after a lot of thinking finally the murder on the tracks. It appears to be Mr Stapleton, a relative how wants the family fortune and Baskerville hall. He used the legend and trained a huge dog to kill.

Sherlock Holmes is the main character, he is a educated man, and he has the talent to see analyse and understand the motive in a action. He is created some kind of puzzle and solve each case white putting one piece at the time in right place. He is a very brave man who puts him self in many dangerous situation. Even then he is a man who solve the case by mostly own thinking he is clever enough to have brilliant assistant in Dr Watson.

I found this book very entertaining and interesting because it always happened something. Even if the book is written long time ago it is very good. This is my first book in English and I don’t find it so hard to read as ...
