First of all I just want to say that I don’t really have a film that means or has meant a lot to me, but this task was to write about one so I have decided to write about a film that I like very much. I have liked it since I was little and I still do. I think I like it so much because they’re singing in the film, I think that the songs are great and I like the story. I’m a hopeless romantic, and I watch every romantic film and listen to romantic songs. Though I don’t listen to just ballads songs, I like punk and rock so it is often a punk or rock version of the original song that I listen to. Although I some times enjoy listen to all those boy-bands.
I have got the movie Grease and the soundtrack, and I also got Grease 2 which almost every one think is a bad movie, but I don’t. It is not as good as the first film and it isn’t the same characters or actors/actresses as in the first. It has it charms, though, through the songs and the colorful characters.
In this film you can say that you have two main characters and that results in two actors. The first is the female actress Olivia Newton John who plays the girl Sandy. The other is John Travolta who plays the boy Danny.
The film is about a girl who falls in love with a boy during the summer vacation. Unfortunately the summer ends and they have to go back to school, but they haven''''t forgotten their summer flirtation. The girl, who name is Sandy Olsson, starts at a new school. Through a friend she starts to hang out with a group of girls who call themselves "Pink Ladies". Sandy has some problems fitting in in the gang and it doesn''''t get any easier when she finds out that the sweet boy she got to know during the summer is going to the same school. Danny Zuko, who is his name, is the leader of the other cool gang of the school, the "T-Birds".
The theme of the film is love. If you watch it you can see that clearly. In short the film is about how Sandy and Danny b...
