The writer of this story is Richard Bach.

This story tells us about a bird, his name is Jonathan Livingston Seagull and he is not pleased with his life, as all the other seagulls.
Because what he loves the most is to fly.
One day he gets rejected from his group because his behaviour isn’t approved from the rest of the group, and he is not allowed to come back ever again.
He is all alone in the sky far, far away when two brilliant birds comes to him and they take Jonathan with them to another place where there are many other seagulls who is just like him.
He loves it there and he learns many new things that he thought he only would dream about doing.
When he is there he learns the true meaning with what he is trying to achieve, he learned to love and forgive, and he thought that if he could forgive his old group he could come back to them and share his new knowledge.
Before he goes back, he meets some young eager birds that loves to fly, he becomes their teacher and he teaches them everything he can.
After that they return to the “breakfast flock” to teach them, but also to forgive them.
He learns to love, in such a way that he can understand and forgive all of those who make such mistakes against others, but in the long term they only make them against them selves.

I believe that this text also tells us something about belief, believing in your self, and maybe sometimes in others!

Why do I think so?
Because there is so many people who do things for others sake, not their own.
It is your life, and it is up to you how you choose to live it.
You should take care of all the time you get!!

In which way is the text written?
It is directly told from the main characters view, dialogs and text.

Can you give own examples from your own experiences that are comparable to with the text?
Yes, I can tell you about my studying, I really have something that I can fight for- I want to become a paramedic after graduation and those extra years of studying I am planning to study at the university and become a nurse.
That is something that really helps me in my studying, because its my goal, I have something to fight for.
I just fight in a different way.

What did you think about the text?
I thought that the text was very learning; it made me to stop up and think again.
Sometimes when he describes s...
