Bram Stocker`s DRACULA

Introduction
I have seen Bram Stockers Dracula and this is a interesting movie, even if you don not believe in vampires. In this analysis I will try to find out if Vampires really exists.

Bram Stoker
Bram Stoker (Abraham Stoker) was born in a suburb to Dublin, Ireland, in1847. Bram was the third child out of seven. And before he began school when he was seven years old, he was an invalid, actually. But later on, he did recover and became an excellent athlete at the Trinity College in Dublin. He also graduated from there with honours in mathematics.
Bram was also a president, but not of the United States or anything he was a president of the University Philosophical Society. His first paper was on "Sensationalism in Fiction and Society".
In 1871 Bram Stoker married Florence Balcombe and they got a son in 1879 named Irving Noel Stoker.
Stoker died April 20 in 1912.

Francis Ford Coppola
Francis Ford Coppola was born in a suburb to Detroit, USA in 1949. His father was a composer and musician and his mother was an actress. He graduated with a degree in drama from Hofstra University, and did graduate work at UCLA in filmmaking. His biggest successes are the Godfather movies. He helped his nephew, Nicolas Cage to be a movie star. His biggest tragedy hit him in 1986 when his son Gio died in a boating accident.

The movie:
Count Dracula get into the war and his wife Elisabeta gets a message that the count has died in the war, but he has not. And when she gets the message her heart gets broken and she jumps from the tower in the castle. When count Dracula gets back he gets the message that his wife has committed suicide and he gets angry in god. He sells his soul to the devil and becomes the evil Dracula. When Jonathan Harker comes to Draculas castle in Transylvania Dracula sees a picture of Nina (Jonathan’s fiancée) and he thinks it is his wife. He takes Jonathan capture and leaves the castle and he goes to London. The vampire girls keep Jonathan in the castle and they suck his blood out. But then one day he managed to escape from the castle. Meanwhile Jonathan escapes Dracula seduces Nina and she falls in love in Dracula. Nina’s best friend Lucy gets bitten by Dracula that is disguised to a wolf. Jonathan recover at the nuns and gets back to England. Van Helsing is the vampire killer and helps the people to kill Vampires. Nina falls in love with count Dracula and forgets Jonathan fore a little bit.

Analys:
My three keywords from the movie are: Love, seduce and blood.
This movie is interesting but the effects in this movie are not so good, they are not so realistic.
In this movie they are using much of the budget on the scenery and costumes and effects of Dracula. Maybe some of the budget should have been spent on getting better effects.
I love Anthony Hopkins part as Van Helsing, he is playing so good and he is so cool when he plays a freaky part. Generally I think the actors are playing very good, but I like Anthony Hopkins most.
Love has a big meaning in this movie because count Dracula gets evil because he loves his wife Elisabeta so much that he is willing to sell his soul to the devil. And Count Dracula goes to London because of love, but now to Nina, who is reminding him of Elisabeta. Jonathan’s love to Nina is also strong and important in this story because it is the love to Nina that makes him be strong enough to escape from the vampire women’s in Count Draculas castle.
Seduce is also a keyword because every time any vampire wants to have blood they seduces the other gender. And the movie has allots of sexual scenes. I think also that sex has big meaning in this movie because it is human’...
