Dr Jekyll is basically two persons, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. When Dr Jekyll drinks a homemade elixyr he changes into the evil other man Mr Hyde. You can see in a strange way that Dr Jekyll seems to be addicted to the Elixyr he has made. Suddenly one day the elixyr runs out and Dr jekyll kills himself. Then both Jekyll and Hyde disappears.
Main Characters.
The main charcters in the book are Dr Jekyll, Mr Hyde, Mr Uttersson and Dr Lanyon. Dr Jekyll is a good doctor and a very kind person and he is well liked by all his friends. But when Dr Jekyll drinks his homemade Elixyr he turns into Mr Hyde and then he becomes the evil side of himself and is running around on the streets and doing bad things. Mr Uttersson is Dr Jekyll´s very well known friend and he is also his lawyer. Dr Lanyon is one of Dr Jekyll´s oldest friends and he is also a doctor.

The only thing I can point out from romanticism is the fantasy of the homemade drink, because the romance is a little related to the fantasy. The description in the book is pretty careful. The book explains the reality pretty well. One thing to relate to realism from the book is that everything is realistic, I mean that everything from the plot was mostly real except from one thing, and that is the drink. I think it´s strange that it can change him to another person.
I don´t understand how that could be related to the realism or anything. Out of a real perspective I don´t think it´s possible. But maybe they thought so in the 1800s. The city where the book takes place is realistic, the houses and everything seem normal, maybe not the high black house, looks like a castle. You can say, the society in t...
