This guide contains information about how to recycle correctly. Hopefully, you’ll learn from this guide and can henceforth contribute to save the environment.

The planet has never been this hot and our resources have never been this less. Simultaneously, people every day throw tons of garbage in the garbage can. What if this could be recycled? That can be done today. But lots of people don’t know that. They’re keeping on throwing their garbage instead of going to a recycling center. Maybe they don’t have the time to do it. But that’s not an excuse. Recycle paper only takes 4 minutes a day. That is 0,3 percent of a day. The problem must be that people doesn’t know how to do it. Well, this is how you do:

How to recycle

It’s very important to know what can be recycled or not. Some garbage shall not be recycled.
Potato peels, apple cores and orts for example shall be put in a compost. In that way you are 100 % environmental-friendly. But other garbage must be recycled. This is what can be recycled:

 Concrete and stones
 Metals
 Plastics
 Glass
 Decks
 Papers and brochures
 Cardboard
 Combustible waste
 Electronics
 Wood
 Batteries

When you throw the garbage, be careful so you don’t mix batteries and combustible waste for example. If the sign says plastics, then it must be plastics there. That is in fact very important, but people doesn’t seem to be so regardful. Recycling is based on sorting things, not to mix them together!
Also remember when you throw things that the material you throw is just what shall be thrown. Don’t throw decks with the rims on. It is such things that are important. Everything you do helps the environment in one way or another.

Problems

There are many problems with recycling. Lots of neighbourhoods haven’t got any recycling centers. People finds it difficult to travel miles for recycling every day.
But these problems can be solved. You can always influence. Send a mail to your municipality and force them to build a recycling center. Mention the environment and how good recycling is, and then your wish can become true. If you have a name list it will be easier.
If that doesn’t work you’ve got problems. But you can manage to live with those. Collect your garbage in paper bags and go to a recycling center 2 times a week. Often there are always 1 or 2 centers within 5 kilometers from your home. And that’s not a long journey. Push yourself and think about what you do for the Earth. Of course it’s best if you walk or cycle to the center.

Consequences

By recycling you help our environment more that you can imagine. Take this example:
Paper is made out of trees. Trees have photosynthesis, which means that they transform carbon dioxide to oxygen. If you throw your papers in the garbage can the producers make ne...
