Group pressure
Why are you doing like you do? Because you self wants to? Or because everyone else does so? You do like others, aren’t you? Or are you the first person ever how smoked? Or the first with brand-name clothing? I don’t think so.
Everyone is affected by things other people do. Either you love it or you hate it. You do the same or you do the opposite. It doesn’t have to be a bad thing to be affected by others. You can do as the rest of you friends and start training and eat right so you can feel better. Or just stop smoking because you saw a cool kid how didn’t smoke.
But the bad side of pressure is that many people, a special teenagers, do things they don’t really wants to do. Things like start smoking or smash windows just because there fridends does so.
Then why are you doing like all the others? Because you don’t wants to stick out from the crowd perhaps. You don’t believe in yourself, you don’t want people to notice you because you are different. Or you want to be different and be noticed. And maybe you just do like others because it is easier that way, to have a leader how decides what to wear and how to be. You don’t feel outside when you have a group of people how does things just like you. You feel that you are a member of the group and perhaps you feel better. But maybe it makes you do bad things if it is a bad group of people.
The pressure to do like others you can find in teenage gangs, schools and religions. And maybe in you own family to. But as I said before, it can affect you both bad and good. And you must be affected, you have been affected. You can’t just go your own way because it is almost no roads that haven’t b...
