Starter
Toast with chicken mix

Ingredients:
4 toasts
1/3 chicken
½ deciliter mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt & black pepper

As starter I will make small toasts. I will start to cut the chicken in small pieces. I put the chicken and the mayonnaise in the bowl and mix it. I cut the lemon in the middle and squeeze out 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, put it in the bowl with the chicken and the mayonnaise and add salt and black pepper.

I have toasted the bread, then I cut away the toast rind. You don’t need to cut away the bread rind, just if you want. I spread the chicken mix between 2 toasts and cut the toast in the middle. And I put one toothpick in the toast, otherwise can the chicken mix drain away.


Main course

Entrecôte with oven potatoes

Ingredients:
300-gram meat. You can take which meat you want, I have taken 2 centimetre thick entrecote
12 potatoes
Salt & peppar
½ deciliter oli
Vegetables
Thyme


I shall make the potato first because it takes time and the meat goes faster. I start with putting the oven on 200 degrees. Then I cut the potatoes in bits of the size of an orange wedge. I Put the potatoes in a bowl and mix the sauce that I shall have on the potatoes. I take a small bowl and put ½ deciliter oil in the bowl. I also put thyme, salt and pepper in the bowl. I pour the oil mix over the potatoes and mix it with the potatoes. I put the potatoes on an oven tin and put it in the oven. The potatoes shall be in the oven for 40 minutes.

When it is only 9 minutes left for the potatoes in the oven I put on the fireplace on full warmth. I put some butter in the fire pan and when the butter is golden brown I put the meat into the fire pan. After 2 minutes I turn the meat and after another 2 minutes I take the meat from the fire pan and put it on a dish. I want my meat medium. You shall fry the meat after how thick your meat slices are. If you want the meat well done fry the meat 2 minutes longer on each side.

To the main course I will make a salad. I need to remember to take out the potatoes from the oven at right time.


Dessert

Fruit salad with ice cream

Ingrediens:
Apples
Bananas
Blueberries
Mango
Melon
Oranges
Raspberries

Now we have come to the dessert, it is only 30 minutes left until my family arrive. I can mix the fruit salad before they arrive. If you are going to serve the dessert later in the evening you should wait and mix the fruit salad after finishing the main course.

I start with the blueberries and the raspberries. I rinse the berries fast under cold water. I need to do it fast, because the berries shouldn’t loose their taste. I put the raspberries and the blueberries in a small bowl, until all the other things are ready. I intend to have the raspberries and the blueberries on top of the salad. I put some sugar on my berries. You don’t need sugar but it will be tastier.

I need to peel the apples. I think it is tastier with out the apple peel. I don’t need to wash the apples before I peel them. I cut the apples in big clefts, then I put the apple clefts in a big bowl.

The apples will soon turn dark if I don’t add something so I start with the oranges. I peel the orange and cut it in the center of each cleft and then I put it into the big bowl.

I cut the melon at the middle and scrape out all seeds. I take a teaspoon and scrape out the pulp and put it direct into the big bowl. Than I do the same thing with the mango, but I don’t need to scrape out the seeds. Because the mango has only one big seed. I hold the mango over the big bowl when I scrape out the pulp from the mango. The mango is very juicy and the mango juice is tasty.
