Go Ask Alice

I have read the book Go Ask Alice. The author of the book is anonymous.
The book Go Ask Alice is based on the actual diary of a fifteen-year-old drug user.

The book is about a girl called Alice. She is a regular kid who is going to
school like all the other kids but one day the drugs came into her life and she is desperately trying to stop using them.

The main characters. There were so many people in the book but I think Alice father and mother were two of them, their names weren´t mentioned in the book and I think their age is around fourty-fifty years old. Another is a girl called Chris. She is working in a shop and is the same age as Alice around fifteen. She is also a drug user. Two other are her brother called Tim and her sister called Alexandra. They are younger than Alice. I think they are around twelve to fourteen years old.

One action that takes place is when Alice is on a party at a girl called Jill. At the party one boy brought a tray with fourteen bottles of coke and ten out of them he had put LSD in. Everybody at the party took one coke and drank it. It was a game to see who got a coke with LSD in, and Alice got one. She suddenly began to feel something strange inside her body, like a storm. The others at the party took care of her until she got better and one of the girls helped her back home. When she got home ,the house was absolutely dark and everybody was asleep so nobody in her family knew that she had taken drugs that night. Alice didn´t know anything about the drugs and that it was LSD in the bottles but Jill explained it all later.

The main theme in the book is that Alice is trying to stop taking the drugs but she barely can´t, she tries to stop, but after some days she takes some more drugs and then tries to stop again and it goes on like that.

My personal comment about the book. The text in the book was very easy to understand and it wasn´t so many hard words and express...
