London

Shopping:

When People go to London is it often because they have so much, and they are cheaper than Sweden. The classic fashion comes from London, but it is much more than clothes they have made, books, music, videos, medicine, make up and much more.

Oxford Street is a big street in London with many market centers.
New Bond Street is also a big street with the most classic and expensive clothes.
On the King’s road street they have clothes for teenagers, but not for people over thirty.
Camden Town is famous but not as famous as Harrods but on Camden town you find both second hand clothes and new clothes and it is cheap.

Department stores

At Harvey Nicholas there is an exlosive store were the nice women go for shopping, they have a whole level with only perfumes and they are a little bit more expensive.

Space Nk is a small department store but all the things in here are designers. And they have, clothes, shoes, make up, sunglasses and so on.

Harrods is a famous department store in London, here you can find many things like make up and clothes, there are designers there too but they aren’t so expensive. They have stops selling furms as well.

Solider blu is an old store and they have Jeans in all sizes and Levis is the biggest mark they have Jeans in all colors, They have real white Jeans too.

Pubs

London is famous fort their pubs they have nearly 7000 pubs. Often they have like different theme on the pubs, in western style, rock and other styles. They have beer of every soot you want to fins. And when you order they don’t say, “I want a beer” we call it öl and in London they say lager so if you want one pint you say a “half pint of lager please”

Nightlife

London don´t have nightlife like other countries, they haven´t got so many places to have fun at like koss or Ibiza. But they have discos but it could bee hard to find them if you don’t know anyone. But in that places they could have really fun. The bad thing with London is that the most of the pubs closed very early.

English Specialties

The English Sunday lunches involdes everything from the English kitchen. Fish and chips is popular in London and in the entire England, there are many calories in fish and chips. The famous English breakfast is bacon, egg, tomatos, fried break and sausager´s, and that breakfast is a real calorie bomb. The breakfast normally ends with two toasts and marmalade.

Cheese

English cheese are often hard, medium hard and the most famous cheese is the cheddar, cheshire, Leicester. Tea is the nationaldrink, and it is served with milk and Lemon.

History street and buildings

Every gate at Bedford square is framed with artificial stones.
And the most of the buildings in London are old stone houses and they have kept them very intact. Mansion house where the mayor lives is an good example.

Sports

Football is the most popular sport in London. The season is from augusti to May. London’s topteam is Arsenal Chelsea, West Ham and Tottenham.
The tourists in London can afford much in sport events, for example American Football and Tennis. They have much larger places than the rest of Europe.

Dublin

Pubs

In Dublin they have many pubs nearly 1000. And in the pubs you don’t eat or something like that, at the pub you get beer and new sandwiches and tea. The pubs in Dublin are open on Sundays and Saturdays, in the rest of Ireland they have closed. The bartender screams “last order” right before closing time. “Pint of Guinness” is the most popular beer in Dublin and Guinness is a dark beer, every day the Dublinpeople drinks about 30 000 liter Guinness.

Food and Drinks


The entire Ireland is not so famous for their food; they have many shellfish dish, because they have the ocean close to Dublin. Mushrooms are also popular in Dublin. Most of the restaurant are small and serve plainfood. Guinness is the dark beer and the light beer is call lager. Corn makes the Irish whiskey. Many think it is a special character with that.

Irish Coffee

Is a specialties for the people in Ireland, and it is coffee, whiskey and cream. And then it becomes a classic drink. Joe Sheridan made it the first time.

Mouser

The most famous museum in Dublin is “Hugh lane municipal gallery of medern art” there they have modern art. It is a very popular museum and it charms many tourists.

Dublin by night

On neary´s with Duke is the place where the actor meat eachother, They have a counter of marble. And they have singing pubs to and at the dinging pubs it is people from everywhere and they sing a song or something. They are also very popular. They don’t have so many discos, but the whole England is famous for their pubs.
Shopping

Grafton Street is the most elegant. Brown Tomas at the Grafton Street is the most expensive market center and they selling “made by hand” clothes in Tweed. Tweed is the most famous stuff in Dublin.
Swifter, is a market center and they sell glas, and things for the home.
Many years ago people bought salmon cheep in Irelands but they don’t that anymore.
Menscloting are very cheep in Dublin, if you buy clothes with quality in Sweden it is much expensive than it is on Ireland, They have it with fine mark.

Conclusion

It seems like London had more too offer in almost everything. I didn’t find so much fact about Dublin. London got more stores; more famous attractions and if people want too se something’s is London a great place. Dublin had very good things too but not as much like London got. They are famous for their Guinness and Tweed. But London is so much more. The Pubs is a big thing in both London and Dublin they have many pubs. England is not a nightlife country maybe it’s more like a shopping or people who is a little bit older and want it calm. London has a great history, and they got something. My conclusion is that I like London better but I´m not going to judge Dublin because I didn’t get so much fact but London is the best.

Food: London had more restaurants then Dublin got and they have more famous food. Dublin is famous for their plainfood, and Guiness.

Shopping: London has much more too offer a tourist in shopping things than Dublin got, They have Harrods and much more so in shopping. Dublin got their tweed of course but that isn’t so much against London.

Pubs: The entire England is famous for their pubs. In London people drinks more lager and in Dublin they drink more Guinness. But London got more Pubs but London is a bigger town...
