This book is based on a true story.
David has writed to books before about his life, and made this one his third.
This one is written about David when he finally have left his mother. And he is now
a grown man. This book is also about how he tries to survive his past.
This book is like the other ones, its about what David feels and his thoughts.
Its in general about his hard childhood, how he was beaten up by his mother, how he
lived in different homes and how he survives it all and starts to help other people.

Backround:
David had been beaten up of his mother since he was four years old, until he were twelve years old.
Both his mom and dad are alcoholics, but its only his mom who beats him, his father moves away from
Davids mother and leave David and his brothers alone with their mother.
One day his teatcher helps David from his mom, and he moves around in different homes for couple of years.
But one day he came to a home and he really like it!
He came to Alice and Harolds home and they soon become his family.


David "föreläser" for others about his life and tries to give hope to them who have the same as he had.
David had been marriage two times and his first he writes about like a big misstake.
But there was one thing that was good and that was Stephen. His wonderful and lovely boy.
But the son couldnt rescue his marriage and they seperate.
In his secong marriage he describes it like he meet the love of his life.

In the book David also writes about his work with other children and his work at the airforce.
He writes about his dream to work with plains and how hes dream comes true.
Also he writes about his son and how he wants to be a good father for him.

In general this book is about a man who didnt gave up !

You cant stop reading this book, or atleast I couldnt. When you read you feel very angry and sad,
but also happy. You feel angry about the whole situation and how David gets treaten, you feel sad becuse you cant belive thats its a real story.
But you feel very happy that David fighted and won over his past. I dont think anyone is worth the thingst
that Davids mom did against him. Its terrible and I hope that people who read this book thinks about what
kind of things their friends and people around them maybe experience and ...
