Once upon a time there was a young girl living in a little house in the forest whit her parents. Her only friend was a cat and a bird. The bird was different from the other birds in the forest, he had wings like gold and a red beak, the bird sang to the girl every night before she get to sleep, she often had nightmares before the bird came and sang them away. Now she sleeps like a baby, and no one can wake her up in the middle of the night because the bird’s song is like magic, like sleeping pills? The cat hated the bird, he was jealous because the bird got the girls attention all the time, and the cat never got to spend time whit the girl so one day the cat hunted the bird away from the forest they lived in to a darker forest. The cat was afraid to go into the forest to find the bird and to kill it so he ran back to the house.
The girl sat on her bed and waited for the bird to come and sing her a song so she could sleep, she was afraid to sleep without hearing the birds song because their was a time in her nightmare when she saw a big purple monster saying that he would take her away from the real world to his world if she kept coming back in this dream. She was so afraid that she did not sleep for many days before the bird came and sang a good night song to her. Now the bird was gone, she cried in her bed and the cat was sad. – What have I done? Said the cat to him self. I must go and find that bird! The cat ran away to the dark forest and shout – Birdie, birdie please come back, I promise that I wont eat you up! The girl needs you see cries and she can’t sleep, please little birdie come home and make her sleep!
But the bird was gone. The cat was so scared of the forest; he didn’t know what to do. But then he heard a song deep in the dark forest. Was it the bird singing? The cat ran into the dark forest and didn’t come back to the girl.
The girl was sad she didn’t have any friends now. She cried and cried for days until she fell asleep. Now she was back in the awful dream. It was so dark that she didn’t see where she was going; she was so scared that she heard her own heartbeats. What will happen if the monster comes back and sees me here?
She kept going into the dark until see saw a big tree. Where am I? She asked herself. She saw a big hole in the tree and she became curious, what is that? Hmm, I better check it out maybe I can hide in there until I wake up so the monster won’t find me. She walked into the big hole in the tree and she saw a little room, whit tiny furniture. But the thing that caught her eye was a cage, it was not so little like the other stuff here, and it was made of gold. She saw a little picture on the wall beside the cage. It was a picture of her bird!! Then she herds a noise and hides under the bead in the room. Who was that? Her cat?! Did her cat live in here? She was confused and angry so she got up and shouts at the cat – Where have you been? I have been sp worried!! The cat got scared and when he saw that it was the little girl he said – I don’t know where I am, I got lost in the dark forest. – But you are in my dream stupid said the girl. The cat looked at the girl and said – We most go back to our forest before the monster sees you here the cat said and packed a bag full of food for their journey. On the way they meet a fairy who said that the way to their forest was a dangerous way, if they did not be careful they would get hurt and she gave them a pink sword and said if the monster comes use this sword and use it well and them she disappeared.
The girl asked the cat why the bird was gone and why he ran away and left them alone, the cat told the girl and she was little angry but forgave the cat.
Sudden they heard a beautiful noise in the dark. It was the bird singing. We must fallow the noise, we most find the bird or I will never get out of this nightmare! Said the gi...
