Book Review – Letters from the inside by John Marsden

The book is about two girls called Mandy and Tracy. When Tracy put an ad in a newspaper called G. D. Y, Mandy answered it. And they became friends really fast. They were talking about everything, their family, friends and many more things. But one of them had a dark secret. In the book Tracey is not home when they’re writing to each other, she’s in another place, and she doesn’t tell Mandy about it. Will Mandy find out were she is?

The main characters are the two girls Mandy and Tracy. In the book you can’t read about how the persons look like or anything, the descriptions you get is from the letters they send to each other. I think that Mandy likes her family but she doesn’t really show it, she is afraid of her brother because he’s really violent. Tracey’s family seems kinda of perfect if you read the book. Tracey is in a basketball team and she really likes it. The book is about Mandy’s and Tracey’s friendship.

In one scene Mandy is writing many letters to Tracey without getting any answer. If you want to know if she gets an answer you got to read the book. I chose that particular scene because it’s very emotional to me. I’ll get really mad if my friend from USA stops writing without telling me why. I liked the book, but I didn’t like the end. I would like a better end. I don’t really know why I liked the book, I think it was because it was good, and it’s like you get to know two people.
