Angels and demons is an intriguing and exiting book that is written by Dan Brow, author of the big hit The Da Vinci code. Angels and Demons is a book with the same kind of mystery and riddles.

The book starts with that Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor in religious symbolic, get a mysterious call in the middle of the night. The caller is very unwilling to give up his name, he says that a murder has been committed and that he needs Roberts help to solve it. Robert doesn’t believe him and hangs up, thinking that it was just a prank. But soon he gets a fax with a horrible picture of an old dead man with a strange symbol burned in to his chest. Langdon immediately recognizes the symbol and gasps for his breath, it’s one of the four Illuminati symbols. The mysterious man calls again and asks if he will help them. Wanting to know more Robert accepts and is rushed to CERN in Switzerland. The man murdered is Dr. Leonardo Vectra, an eminent scientist and priest that was working hard to proof the connection between God and the creation. It shows that Mr. Vectra has produced antimatter, the opposite to matter. It’s a huge success but it’s highly explosive and 1 gram is equal to a 20 megaton atomic bomb. But one of the questions still remains, why was Leonardo murdered? Nothing seems to have been stolen, and almost no one knew about Leonardo’s discovery. The horrible truth is soon obvious, the biggest speciment of the antimatter that was contained in a special vault has been stolen, a hole gram of antimatter. They soon finds out that the bomb is in the Vatican, were the new pope is about to bee selected. Langdon and Leonardo’s daughter Victoria goes to Rome to find the antimatter, in an exiting chase with so many twists and turns that it sometimes is hard to keep track.

I love this book and I would recommend it highly if someone asks, it has got an extraordinary tempo and keeps you stuck in the book until the end. Every time you think that you think you know something the book takes a turn. I also love that Dan Brown is using real facts and this gives the book another dim...
