TO RECORD A DEMOTAPE

It all started about a year ago. It was Linda, Jessica and I. We should enter a competition called “Musik Direkt” but it didn’t go so well because we only sing. Then the referees told us that we should try again the next year and also try to play some music to the lyrics. Ok we thought and decided to start a band. It went on very well and the next year we tried again. We didn’t win but we thought it was fun and almost everybody liked us. We moved on and played our songs and we got more and more songs to play. We don’t have more then five songs but they will come. Anyway, we booked a time in the studio in Söderhamn, the 4th – 5th October 2001. And we where very exited and nervous. When we first came to the house it was nobody there. But after about 10 minutes, Roger (the studioman) came. When we came in to the “musicroom” we where allowed to try our instruments and tune them. Then we started to plat and practise the songs. When we were finished we started to record. It took all the day and when the clock was about 7pm we were finished with the music to all the songs and the lyrics to one of them. But suddenly in the evening, Jessica – the singer in our band, lost her voice. That came like a chock for us. We didn’t know what we should do but the next day the voice came back and sounded good. We recorded the lyrics and then Roger mixed a little bit and then our tape was finished. When the clock was about 5.30pm we went home. And it sounded strange to hear our music on a record.
