I have read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It’s about the young boy Harry Potter who isn’t like normal boys are. He is a wizard. But he lives with his none-magical uncle Veron, his aunt Petunia and their son Dudley. He lives with them because a very evil wizard by name Lord Voldemort killed Harry’s parents when he only was one year old. Harry is pretty short and small for his age and he has black stubborn untidy hair and bright green eyes. On his forehead he had a scar, shaped like a bolt of lightning. The scar he’d got from Lord Voldemort when he tried to kill Harry but the curse had, in some way, hit back on Lord Voldemort. Harry and his friends Ron who is quite tall and has red hair, and Hermione who is kind of obstinate and an a-student with brown bushy hair goes on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy.

It all begins when Sirius Black escapes from the wizard prison Azkaban. At Hogwarts Harry finds out that it is him Black is after, because he betrayed Harry’s parents when they got killed. As a security measure it stands Dementors around the castle. A Dementor is a horrible creature who sucks all the happiness out of you when you come near it. And every time Harry comes near a Dementor he hears a horrible screaming and he passes out. After a while he figures out what the screaming is, it is his mother he hears, begging to Lord Voldemort that he will let Harry live. Black also succeeds to break in to the castle a couple of times and that Harry sees death omens everywhere doesn´t make it better. It is in the castle where the main part of the story takes place. It is an old castle with speaking paintings on the walls, disappearing footsteps and secret tunnels.

I like the Harry Potter books and that I’ve already read it in Swedish once of course makes it easier to understand. But if I didn’t had read the book before I think I would have understood less than I did. The books about Harry is very good when a new one comes out I usually read them without stopping. But if it’s School next day of course I have to slow down a bit. What I don’t understand, and probably never will, is how these writers come up with everything! I like fanta...
