The fantasy book ‘Harry Potter and the goblet of Fire’ is the fourth book of the Harry Potter-series. The book is written by the very talented writer J.K. Rowling, who has won a lot of different prizes for her books about Harry Potter. Each book is about one year in Harry''''s life at Hogwarts, where he learns to use magic and brew potions. Harry also learns how to overcome many magical, social, and emotional obstacles, as he struggles through his adolescence and Voldemort''''s rise to power. This book is about Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The main character is, as you can tell from the name of the book, Harry Potter. But except from him, there is also Ronald “Ron” Weasly and Hermione Granger, plus other students, teachers and the feared Voldermort. Ever since Harry was just a little boy, Voldemort, the dark lord has been trying to kill him. But now, fourteen years later, he still has not succeeded. Ronald is Harry’s best friend, who lives with his poor, big family: They are seven siblings, and then of course a mother and a father. Hermione is what I would like to call a mastermind. She is very clever, although she is not really a witch. Her parents are muggles, or non-magic. When the three friends returns to Hogwarts this year, along with the other studens, Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizard Tournament, in which student representatives from three different wizarding schools (Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstang) will compete in a series of increasingly challenging contests. Three competitors are selected by the goblet of fire, which this year makes a very surprising announcement: Hogwarts will have two representatives in the tournament, including Harry Potter! Although Harry did not enter his own name in to the goblet of fire, he will have to compete in this years Triwizard Tournament. So this year, there are not three, but four competitors! Dumbledore and the other teachers can feel it: this is not going to end well. But it is inevitable, and Harry is no longer safe at Hogwarts. Dark and difficult times lies ahead, and not everyone will survive this year. After two difficult tasks, there is just the finally left. And still, the four students are all alive. But when Harry and Cedric, who is the second competitor of Hogwarts, reaches the finish and grabs the trophy, it appears to be a portkey. A few seconds after touching it, Harry and Cedric finds themselves at a graveyard where Peter Pettigrew and Lord Voldemort await. What will happen? What are Harry and Cedric going to do? Who of them is going to win? Only one of them will survive. There is only one way find out whom: read ‘Harry Potter and the goblet of fire’. I highly recommend it! In my opinion, this fourth installment is the most dramatic of them all. The book is pretty long - 636 pages with no animations.
